Going Green with Garvey's!

While the selection of recycled office products available used to be small, we now have a vast selection of recycled products in every category- including furniture! Going Green can be accomplished in many different ways. The obvious way is to purchase products that have recycled content. To easily see the thousands of recycled products we currently carry, you can ask for a copy of our 2011 Green Catalog or simply go online and click on the 'Recycled Products' under 'My Account' tab.

While buying recycled products is one way of going green, at Garvey's, we have started several other green initiatives. Did you know that we will pick up and recycle old pens, used toner cartridges, old computers and electronic equipment, batteries and the cardboard boxes that we deliver your order in?

Through our program Recycle for a Reason, we collect used toner cartridges and donate the proceeds generated from these cartridges to a different charitable organization every quarter. Together, we have raised over $50,000 for various local charities and we hope to continue to grow this program. We added pen and writing instrument recycling last year as well as picking up our old cardboard boxes from your office. This year we have added recycling old computers and electronic equipment.

Last summer we began a program where we offer free samples on our website for you to try. We need your feedback on how this program is working for you. Have you found a favorite new pen using these free samples? What was your favorite sample you received? What types of products would you like to see as future samples?

We will have a drawing from all the email replies received for a $25.00 Visa Gift Card. Winner will be drawn on April 30th from all emails received. Winner will be announced in the next newsletter.
