I needed to slash our supply budget by at least 20% back in 2014. After meeting with many suppliers I decided to give Garvey's a chance. I felt their culture aligned with ours emphasizing great customer service, empowered employees and a business run as a family. I began employment at Presbyterian Homes Westminster Place as of December 2017, as an HR Assistant of our department I need to keep our supplies replenished monthly. Everytime I contact Garvey's Office Products, the customer service representatives are willing to help and find solutions. For example, I ordered a wrong item and after contacting Garvey's the Rep placed an order for the correct item and credit the amount and charged for the remaining balance. Upon receiving the correct item, Garvey's delivery staff took the wrong item. It was a smooth transition…no conflict whatsoever. On another occasion, after I placed an order and received the supplies the next day…I realized I needed to order another item...after contacting Garvey's, the Rep took and placed my order and shipped it the very next day. That is another great asset… Garvey's delivers supplies promptly and efficiently. In addition, an added treat our HR manager and our office enjoys are the treats we earn after ordering a certain amount of items. Keep up the excellent, effective customer service and delivery. Garvey's not only has exemplary customer service, but their products go above and beyond standard office supplies. Within my first week of purchasing from Garvey's, I could tell it was a company I'd enjoy to shop from for a lifetime. To date, my favorite purchase has been my Universal Jumbo Mesh Cup. I love the fact that even at the first level of contact, the friendly customer service I always get is great, and I don't need to speak with my rep to get quotes. They even laugh with me when I am making fun of my own mistakes, and never get tired of me asking for clarification on stuff. Camcraft has been using Garvey's for at least the last five years I've been working here and it was a great move from our previous office supplier. I feel as if I have known Lisa M., our inside sales rep, for my entire life and we've only talked on the phone a few times and sent emails every so often. She is kind and always extremely helpful for anything I ask, whether it be contract pricing or helping me find an item on the website. Roy Flegel, our outside sales rep, is a great asset to the team too; he's delivered items personally if we've needed them in a rush (Amazon can't do that!). I know this is over the 3-4 sentence limit, but I could go on and on about how great a company Garvey's is. He is Garvey's in person and Lou puts the finishing touch of customer service on our Garvey's orders by his cheerful, quiet efficiency. With a smile, he always tells me not to get up! Just had our most recent order delivered and if I haven't told you before, I just wanted to say that you have a great driver! He is always very friendly! Since so many people are quick to send complaints about things but rarely compliments, I thought I'd change that.

I thought that Staples was a quick turnaround but you guys definitely get the thumbs up from me in response time. Your guys were professional , introduced themselves and even went so far as to unload and stack the items for me. This is something that we never received before.

We just received our first delivery and I was so pleased with the level of professionalism from Mike, the delivery man!!!! Mike had to carry the copy paper down the stairs to the basement, since we don't have an elevator. He asked if I had any questions, when I informed him this was our first time ordering. He also informed me that he was not our regular delivery man. Dave was on vacation. I will only see Mike when Dave is off or on vacation. Nice guy!!
