About Clearbrook
In truth, Clearbrook had small beginnings. The organization began in Rolling Meadows, IL when a group of parents decided to establish a school for their special needs children. However like all good ideas, it quickly expanded. At first it supported the families of children diagnosed with developmental delays, but eventually the program also provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today, Clearbrook serves over 8,000 individuals and their respective families annually– its mission to provide innovative opportunities for all.
Meet Eric
As we mentioned above, Clearbrook does have a special tie to Garvey’s Office Products. We are fortunate to have firsthand experience with Clearbrook by hiring a daytime warehouse worker named Eric. Eric and his Clearbrook aid perform vital warehouse duties every day and bring a positive lift to our entire staff. We cannot encourage our customers enough to reach out to Clearbrook to discuss opportunities you may have at your own offices.
Ways to Donate
Like all our Recycle for a Reason recipients, we will be collecting donations in the form of used toners, old electronics and flattened cardboard, which we will recycle into cash donations for Clearbrook. If you are a non-customer, you can drop your recyclables off at Garvey’s Office Products Monday – Friday between the working hours of 9-5 PM. If you are a customer of Garvey’s Office Products, you can request a complimentary donation pickup with your next office supply order.
